Here are a few doodles I liked enough to prep in photoshop for painting...hopefully soon. The space-guy is missing a raygun (didn't like the original so I got rid of it). The problem has been that when I sketch, if the design catches my eyes I don't render it in pencil right in the sketchbook as to save the rendering for later PS work. That way the render process stays fresh and fun. Granted, pencil rendering would be good practice. I will upload updated versions later.

Various bits from my sketchbook
Here are a few sketches from a sketchbook of mine. I already scanned them and plan to digitally paint them when I get the chance. I have a problem of buying new sketchbooks of various shapes and sizes withouth having had filled the older ones...an addiction if I may say. :) Nevertheless, I am never short on sketchbooks.

Carrot-Top
Been a while posting...but I thought of posting this quick painting I did while testing Painter X. I have managed to record the painting process as a video and hope to post it soon on my website (www.tirgari.com). I will have a new section of demo videos on the site which will hopefully be of use to my students and those curious as to my process. I will also be teaching workshops, and possibly an entire course, dedicated to digital concept painting at the Art Institute if all goes well. Cheers!
